Job Title: Program Manager, Cleveland Humanities Collaborative

Job Summary:

The Program Manager will play a key role in the leadership team for the Cleveland Humanities Collaborative, a grant-funded initiative aimed at increasing transfer students from local community colleges who matriculate to Case Western Reserve University to study the humanities or humanistic social sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide organizational management for all Cleveland Humanities Collaborative activities, including leadership of enrollment and student career preparation.
  • Work closely with Student Affairs and the Assistant Dean for Transfer Students in support of Cleveland Humanities Collaborative students and scholars.
  • Collaborate with partner schools on transfer- and concurrent-enrollment-focused recruiting.
  • Schedule student workshops, coordinate community mentorship and career advising opportunities for Cleveland Humanities Collaborative scholars.
  • Oversee the residential summer Collaboratory program and cohort-building activities.
  • Provide oversight of student research and internship projects.

Requirements:

  • Serve as the primary public representative of grant activities.
  • Collaborate with Cleveland Humanities Collaborative director(s) to develop strategies for marketing and outreach.
  • Work with grant participants at partner schools and Case Western Reserve University to create outreach materials.
  • Maintain programming schedules and update website as needed.
  • Lead social media engagement and develop new student networking opportunities.
  • Support Cleveland Humanities Collaborative director(s) in assessing the program's mission and strategic goals.
  • Represent Case Western Reserve University and the grant at relevant local, state, and national conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Oversee fiscal management of the Cleveland Humanities Collaborative's $1.4 million budget at Case Western Reserve University.
  • Collaborate with Cuyahoga Community College to plan and report usage of their $1.5 million budget.
  • Manage partner school subawards and contracts.
  • Manage grant-reporting requirements, annual reports, reallocation requests, and facilitate Cleveland Humanities Collaborative's external evaluation and assessment.
