Job Description

Olgoonik Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Project Manager to join our team. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing site investigation and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support business development pursuits by fostering client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Prepare cost estimates, bid packages, and proposals to secure new projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Engage with clients and project stakeholders to monitor and manage expectations, ensuring project deliverables meet contract requirements.
  • Oversee the production of project planning documents, including project management plans, work plans, and health and safety plans.
  • Lead technical and administrative project status meetings with project stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective project progress.
  • Provide technical, schedule, fiscal, and administrative project information to functional leads, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level staff, promoting career growth and development within the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional experience in environmental investigation and remediation, with a minimum of 5 years in project management.
  • BS degree or higher in environmental science and/or environmental engineering.
  • Experience conducting site investigations, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, and remedial designs/actions at CERCLA and/or RCRA sites.
  • Experience working on Department of Defense projects is a major plus.
  • 40 HR OSHA Hazwoper certification is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification, registration, or license in environmental science and/or environmental engineering.
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent technical report writing and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate with regulatory and stakeholder groups.
Security Clearance

Must be able to successfully complete a U.S. government-administered investigation.

Travel

Occasional travel to field sites may be required, approximately 10-20% of the time.

Work Environment

General office environment, with occasional travel to field sites.
