Peraton is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Operations Analyst to enhance our capabilities in integrating diverse knowledge, information, and data from multiple sources, including the U.S. Intelligence Community (IC), State and local entities, the private sector, international partners, and the critical infrastructure community.
Location: This role is based in Arlington, VA, with the flexibility to telework up to 50% of the time, contingent on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team to streamline analytical processes and integrate them into Threat Hunting and CISA Operations, contributing to the wider cyber community.
- Utilize expertise in data, information, processes, and organizational dynamics to meet mission objectives.
- Oversee Requests for Information (RFI) from Analysts, managing the scope and assigning tasks to vendors, while reviewing and consolidating their responses.
- Engage with Mission Team analysts to create and refine Information Needs (IN).
- Draft essential organizational documents such as Concept of Operations, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency of cyber incident reporting and workflows.
- Document challenges and collaborate across teams to find opportunities for process enhancements, proposing solutions to ensure effective incident reporting.
- Formulate strategies to limit, mitigate, or defend against coordinated cyber threats that may jeopardize critical infrastructure or national interests.
- Evaluate project challenges and devise solutions to achieve productivity, quality, and organizational satisfaction goals.
- Establish monitoring mechanisms for project progress and facilitate intervention and problem-solving with project and line managers.
- Develop effectiveness measures for cyber initiatives, analyzing current processes and past incidents for insights and best practices.
- Coordinate and facilitate engagements with internal and external partners to promote information exchange and respond to requests for assistance.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to devise and implement strategies for operationalizing cyber programs.
- Solid understanding of cyber operations theory, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
- Capability to identify, analyze, and rectify program support deficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and recommend corrective measures.
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
- An active Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI is required.
- Additionally, the selected candidate must obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation for continued employment.
