We are seeking a highly skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team in Fort Lauderdale. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and permitting signalization plans for intersection upgrades, school flashers, and mid-block crossings. You will also develop traffic operations and safety studies to identify, evaluate, and recommend improvements for intersections and arterials.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and permitting of signalization plans for intersection upgrades, school flashers, and mid-block crossings.
  • Development of traffic operations and safety studies to identify, evaluate, and recommend improvements for intersections and arterials.
  • Data collection and analysis of corridor traffic counts, including turning movement counts, average daily traffic counts, and queue length studies.
  • Project traffic forecasts, model support, and GIS support.
  • Conduct traffic impact studies to assess the development project's impact on the surrounding transportation network.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic engineering.
  • Professional Engineering License in Florida.
