Role Summary:

  • Design and implement native mobile applications utilizing Swift, Objective-C, and SwiftUI within an Agile development framework.
  • Adhere to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines to create intuitive iOS applications. Construct multi-module iOS applications by organizing, designing, and presenting data through MVVM and Clean Architecture methodologies.
  • Engineer software solutions for cloud environments, leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, ECS, IAM, Lambda, EMR, and CloudFormation.
  • Manage extensive datasets in an AWS cloud context. Conduct AWS development and deployment to establish cloud infrastructure using Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Develop native mobile applications supported by RESTful web services using Apple’s protocols. Design and implement user interface (UI) components, web services, and database interactions.

As a Software Engineer, you will leverage your expertise in Mobile (iOS/Android) development and testing to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance customer-facing software solutions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in building, debugging, and supporting mobile applications.
  • Hands-on proficiency with Xcode and Swift (iOS) or Android Studio and Kotlin (Android).
  • Experience delivering software in an Agile setting.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies is essential.
  • Collaborative experience in code reviews and pair programming.
  • Utilizes a data-driven approach for decision-making while balancing strategic trade-offs.
  • Manages development work streams by designing and architecting scalable, resilient, and extensible solutions.
  • Contributes to the development of solutions that enhance software developer productivity.
  • Ensures technology choices align with iOS and Android architectural standards and strategies.
  • Designs, develops, and modifies complex software systems, employing scientific analysis and mathematical models to forecast and evaluate outcomes and implications of designs.
  • Develops and oversees software system testing and validation protocols, programs, and documentation.

Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing mobile applications and reusable frameworks using Objective-C, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin, or Jetpack Compose.
  • Expertise in defining technical architecture for mobile applications using MVVM, VIPER, and clean architecture patterns; implementing industry-standard quality practices for iOS and Android applications.
  • Experience in designing, building, and automating DevOps solutions using Jenkins, Groovy, Gradle, Appium, or Fastlane.
  • Experience in building cloud and web applications using AWS EC2, S3, DynamoDB, C# .Net, or SQL Server.
  • Utilize your knowledge to advocate for improved software design, promote sound software engineering practices, and enhance testability and security.
  • Actively engage in the development process by writing and maintaining application features and automated tests, including unit tests, component tests, integration tests, functional tests, performance tests, scenario tests, and interoperability tests.
  • Support the team in designing reliable, accurate tests, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance test coverage, release velocity, and production health.
  • Empower the team in designing and developing automation using XCUI and Android frameworks.
