Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cath Lab Technologist III to join our team at St. Luke's Health–The Vintage Hospital. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, including interaction and time management, independent problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure a professional and patient-oriented departmental atmosphere to enhance patient care.
  • Manage staff and room activities to maximize productivity, coordinating staffing assignments to meet patient needs and staff abilities.
  • Collaborate with schedule coordinators, managers, supervisors, and other room leaders to facilitate departmental productivity and minimize case delays.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, physiologic recorders, and database systems, recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms.
  • Develop cines according to policy and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
  • Anticipate physician needs, set up sterile trays, and assist with procedures, utilizing septic technique.
  • Provide support for EP, interventional, and scrub assist procedures, as well as radiographic and digital imaging techniques.
  • Train and educate new employees in the cardiac catheterization lab and participate in departmental educational programs.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist Radiography (RTR), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT).
  • CPR/BLS certification.
  • Minimum five (5) years clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Pay Range

$51.16/hour.
