Communicare is a community mental health center in North Central Mississippi that serves multiple counties. Our mission is to provide specialized treatment services for individuals with serious mental illness, children with serious emotional disturbances, individuals with substance abuse disorders, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are seeking a Direct Care Worker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a supervised living program.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as money management and medication management.
- Develop and implement meaningful day activities to promote socialization, independence, and personal choice.
- Transport clients to various activities and appointments.
- Work collaboratively with the Communicare Treatment Team to ensure high-quality care.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job
- CPI certification or ability to complete CPI training
- Valid driver's license, automobile insurance, and insurable driving record
Compensation details: $11 per hour
