Baldwin & Shell is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our Central Arkansas Team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in the management and implementation of commercial construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Direct and supervise all job site activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Safety and Quality: Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and clean jobsite.
- Team Management: Supervise staff, provide work direction, and constructive feedback to ensure team members are working effectively.
- Equipment Management: Order and maintain necessary equipment to support project needs.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve on-site issues and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with project stakeholders, including project management staff and clients.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least five (5) years of commercial construction experience as a General Contractor Superintendent on projects of at least $10M in size.
- Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge and understanding of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites, as well as strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Self-driven, motivated, and able to work effectively and independently, with strong organizational and time management skills.
