Job Summary

Michaels Stores is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, helping customers shop our store, and ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Help customers locate products, provide product information, and make recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, maintaining a visually appealing store environment, and ensuring that products are properly displayed and stocked.
  • Assist with inventory management, receiving, and stocking merchandise, as well as maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals, promote products, and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
