Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Sandy Springs. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, preventing crimes, and providing excellent customer service to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes
  • Provide support to the community through community-based policing activities and programs
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and best practices
  • Participate in training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Minimum age of 20, must be 21 at time of employment
  • Must possess a valid US Driver's License, must possess a GA Driver's License at time of employment
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or a GED Certification
  • Must be able to pass a physical fitness assessment, background investigation, and polygraph examination
