The RoleThe Portfolio Manager is a key leader in our organization, responsible for fostering and nurturing positive client-focused relationships. This role manages multiple client sites or a single complex client site, ensuring we deliver the best client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and direct the performance of routine to complex tasks and projects
- Ensure contracted service is delivered to client specifications and serve as the point of escalation for client questions and concerns
- Lead contract renegotiations and actively seek new service opportunities
- Ensure site staff and management understand and execute their responsibilities in a consistent, safe, and sanctioned manner
- Recruit for site, including opening requisitions, selecting candidates, conducting interviews, and providing feedback and candidate selection input
- Develop and guide employees, serving as the point of escalation for employee relations issues, including corrective action
- Communicate and articulate safety and job-related training to service team members and managers
- Develop metrics for portfolio supply inventory for budgeting and client contract negotiations
- Participate in strategic planning meetings with leadership
- Build cross-functional department relationships centered on executing company strategy
- Closely monitor budget to anticipate and communicate changes
- Minimum of eight (8) years relevant experience in Facility Services, Aerospace Operations, Manufacturing, or a related industry
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, or related studies preferred
- Strong commitment to high-level service and quality standards
- Demonstrated ability to coach, motivate, develop, and lead a team
- Willingness to work a variable work schedule, including day shifts, evening, and night shifts
- Demonstrated ability to manage service execution and contract deliverables
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Salesforce, Kronos/UKG (or similar HR, Timekeeping, Payroll systems), and similar corporate systems
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, with a driving record that aligns with company standards
- Demonstrated experience working with union contracts
- Ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance or Live Scan (sector specific)
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
- Ability to travel between local locations approximately 30-40%
- Ability to travel to HQ as needed
