Medical Laboratory Supervisor

Lower Bucks Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Supervisor to lead our clinical laboratory team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for supervising the daily operation of the laboratory, providing consultative services to the medical staff, and overseeing the laboratory's performance improvement program.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operation of the laboratory
- Provide consultative services to the medical staff
- Oversee the laboratory's performance improvement program
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements
- Assess staff competency and complete performance evaluations
- Ensure the accuracy of patient results prior to releasing or reporting
- Develop, maintain, and update laboratory policy and procedure manuals
- Review quality control performance and ensure documentation of corrective actions
Qualifications:
- ASCP certification or equivalent
- Minimum five years hospital laboratory work experience
- Bachelor's Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology
