Job Overview:

POSITION SUMMARY:

This role is focused on executing light secondary operations such as cleaning and washing components, deburring, buffing, TFE application, and basic machining tasks. The individual will ensure that these activities are carried out effectively while adhering to quality benchmarks.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Operate under the general guidance of the department supervisor with minimal oversight.
  • Conduct light secondary operations including deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding, and straightening of components.
  • Engage in drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work, and basic machining.
  • Utilize machinery in accordance with established processes and protocols, including the use of cleaning agents, coating mixtures, oven settings, curing durations, and waste management.
  • Transfer materials and components between locations, ensuring proper loading into machinery.
  • Interpret blueprints and technical documents accurately.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including the removal of foreign materials.
  • Report any defective materials or unusual conditions to the supervisor.
  • Follow standard operating procedures as outlined by company policy.
  • Execute any additional tasks as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or relevant training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to perform a variety of assembly and soldering tasks manually.
  • Good manual dexterity for handling small components.
  • Capability to read blueprints and utilize measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers is preferred.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position involves both independent and collaborative work.
  • Ability to lift weights ranging from 25-55 lbs occasionally, and 20-55 lbs frequently.
  • Willingness to stand or sit for extended periods, up to 8-10 hours daily.
  • Requires good manual dexterity and visual acuity.
  • Exposure to various industrial cleaning agents and oils may occur.
