The facility offers an extensive range of services, including Senior Care and Behavioral Health Services, Emergency Care, Cardiovascular Services, Advanced Imaging, Laboratory Services, Neuroscience, Rehabilitation, Sleep Diagnostics, Surgical Services, Wound Care, and Women's Health Services, featuring a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Our hospital is accredited as a Chest Pain Center and a Primary Stroke Center, ensuring high standards of care.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Nurse Specialist is accountable for delivering safe and effective patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing direct patient care within the defined scope of practice.
  • Leading and guiding patient and family education while overseeing the activities of other nursing staff to maintain care standards within the Medical/Surgical Unit.
  • Assuming direct responsibility for the care provided to assigned patients.
  • Communicating with physicians regarding any changes in patients' clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology.
  • Responding promptly and accurately to changes in patient conditions and treatment responses.
Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • Current BLS certification upon hire and ongoing maintenance.
  • Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and ongoing maintenance preferred.
  • Prior experience in an Acute Care hospital setting preferred.
  • Experience in Ventilator Management preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
