Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance, support, and development opportunities to our procurement team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans that meet our business needs and drive cost savings. Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with our procurement policies and procedures.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Analyze and optimize our supply chain processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the procurement process.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our procurement organization.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing industries.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent travel, including air travel and auto travel, and may involve working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, and some work may be required in operating units that require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and have specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
