Position: Electronic Technician

Key Responsibilities

As an Electronic Technician, your primary duties will include the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various control systems. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical systems, PLC programming, and automation technologies.

  • Install, maintain, and repair control systems, including but not limited to PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS, HMIs, and other automation equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Diagnose control system issues and implement effective solutions promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to design and implement upgrades and modifications to control systems.
  • Document all maintenance and repair activities, including updating schematics, manuals, and other technical documentation.

Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Controls Technician or in a similar capacity.
  • Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control devices.
  • Experience with SCADA systems, DCS, HMIs, and other control system software.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as necessary.
