Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician

MultiCare Health System is seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Technician to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to provide technical support and assistance in our cardiac cath and electrophysiology labs. As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform direct patient care activities under the direction of the Registered Nurse
  • Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment in the assigned procedure room
  • Assist the Registered Nurses in providing patient care as needed
  • Perform required Cath and Electrophysiology Lab specific documentation
  • Assemble, disassemble, and operate specialty equipment
  • Assist physicians in administering contrast media
Requirements
  • Certification of Washington State radiologic technologist or cardiovascular invasive specialist
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R)
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) registry as a standard for care provision
  • Certification of AHA, BLS and ACLS CPR
