SSM Health is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Monroe Clinic Hospital. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy to patients, ensuring accurate and safe treatment plans are followed.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for radiation therapy, selecting anatomic parameters accurately.
- Deliver patient treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions and ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards.
- Adjust and maintain necessary equipment, including linear accelerators.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- Completion of a Radiation Therapy program.
- No experience required.
- Constant standing and walking.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near and far.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication.
- Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent lifting/moving of patients.
- Frequent reaching, gripping, and keyboard use/data entry.
- Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA).
- ARRT-T Radiation Therapy - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
