Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and facilitate organizational restructuring initiatives.
  • Craft and execute strategies to ensure seamless transitions and reduce disruptions.
  • Act as a dependable problem solver for various HR-related challenges.
  • Provide backup support for payroll operations, ensuring precision and punctuality.
  • Manage open enrollment activities utilizing UKG.
  • Address employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary measures.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, offering guidance and assistance to team members.
  • Conduct standard HR administrative functions, such as maintaining employee records, managing HRIS, and generating reports.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture through effective communication and relationship management.
  • Resolve employee concerns and grievances promptly and fairly.
  • Conduct investigations and suggest corrective actions as necessary.
  • Oversee and manage employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance and clear communication.
  • Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits and other HR matters.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as an HR Generalist, particularly in managing organizational changes.
  • Proficient in UKG software for HR operations.
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes and capability to support payroll functions.
  • Experience with open enrollment and benefits management.
  • Strong employee relations capabilities, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with care.
  • Familiarity with standard HR administrative tasks.
  • Experience in Canadian HR practices is highly valued.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS, particularly UKG.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous.
