As a Maintenance Engineer at Aimbridge Hospitality, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment, as well as perform preventative maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including but not limited to: ice machines, refrigerators, kitchen equipment, laundry equipment, HVAC systems, and guest rooms.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, repairing vinyl, painting, and performing minor furniture repairs.
- Respond to guest requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor energy conservation and perform repairs on exhaust fans and supply systems.
- Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause, and report to the Front Desk with findings.
- Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensed in a trade (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.) preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
- Must have an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record) property specific.
- Competitive hourly rate: $17.86-$26.79/hour.
