Apprentice Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Engineer to join our team at Sutter Bay Hospitals. As an Apprentice Engineer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to general maintenance and repair, plant operation and maintenance, and biomedical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks, including troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, including boilers, pumps, and other mechanical systems.
• Participate in biomedical maintenance activities, including calibration and repair of medical equipment.
• Work directly with a journeyman engineer to ensure that all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience.
• Passing score of Local 39 Apprenticeship.
• No experience required, but general hands-on tool knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
