The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front office. The ideal candidate will possess 1-2 years of experience in a front desk role, demonstrate outstanding communication abilities, and thrive in a dynamic environment. We seek enthusiastic individuals dedicated to achieving complete guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee front desk operations to guarantee quality service delivery.
  2. Manage the Bell/Valet Department to uphold operational standards and effective staffing.
  3. Assist the Front Desk Manager in overall departmental oversight.
  4. Coordinate all transportation requests and manage related operations.
  5. Ensure smooth arrivals, in-house services, and departures for group bookings.
  6. Implement training standards and standard operating procedures.
  7. Ensure that special requests from guests are acknowledged and fulfilled.
  8. Communicate with all departments regarding VIP guests and their specific needs.
  9. Guide front desk agents in upselling services to meet budgetary goals.
  10. Foster professional interactions with team members and assist other departments as needed.
  11. Act as the primary liaison between front desk operations and other hotel departments.
  12. Answer phone calls professionally and assist guests with inquiries.
  13. Address and resolve guest complaints and compliments with courtesy and professionalism.
  14. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of hotel amenities and special events.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Strong telephone etiquette.
  • Previous experience with Opera software is preferred.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations calmly and professionally.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a positive demeanor.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
  • Must maintain professional grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Ability to understand and work with financial data and basic arithmetic.
