About the Role

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. You will lead processes that maximize these key areas, while building strong relationships with plant employees, customer service, and sales teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and facilitate a safe work culture, ensuring compliance with company safety, environmental, and housekeeping policies.
  • Provide direct supervision of team members and ensure they are trained adequately to perform assigned tasks on all existing and new production equipment.
  • Continuously provide support, training, and evaluate performance of team members.
  • Troubleshoot processing techniques and production machinery, and assure quality and accuracy of production standards.
  • Assist other departments/shifts as instructed and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a professional, multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment and possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and execute production schedules of equipment/assets, and provide problem-solving and resolution skills for departmental issues.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a supervisory position.
  • Strong background in manufacturing, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, and some knowledge of Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Access.
  • SAP experience a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Production environment where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
Physical Effort Requirements
  • Long periods of standing.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
