We are seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join our team at St. David's North Austin Medical Center.

Job Summary:

As a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will perform patient assessments and develop care plans for infants in the NICU. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care. You will attend deliveries, stabilize newborns, and admit them to the NICU. You will administer medications, complete treatments, and provide support to infants and their families. You will also assist in high-risk deliveries and resuscitation.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and develop care plans for infants in the NICU
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to ensure safe and accurate delivery of care
  • Attend deliveries, stabilize newborns, and admit them to the NICU
  • Administer medications, complete treatments, and provide support to infants and their families
  • Assist in high-risk deliveries and resuscitation

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
