Job Summary

Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, identifying potential health problems and their implications
  • Interpret diagnostic test results and take appropriate action
  • Provide education to patients and families on various aspects of care, including neonatal care and breastfeeding
  • Perform Point of Care procedures and document findings
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed
  • Participate in staff development and training programs
Requirements
  • Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in Texas or a state within the Nursing Compact
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 2 years of NICU experience
