About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure Analyst II to join our team at the Special Technologies Laboratory in Santa Barbara, CA. As a key member of our Information Technology Directorate, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining our network systems and telephony infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues
  • Perform routine analysis of IT infrastructure, including networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and devices
  • Create and implement upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting solutions to resolve IT problems
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technology to increase efficiency and flexibility
  • Promote project and team management best practices for continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent training and experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure analysis and maintenance
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and server technologies, including VMware vSphere and Microsoft platforms
  • Experience with storage technologies, including RAID types and performance
  • Knowledge of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, DHCP, VLAN, and WAN technologies
