About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health services strategies to support student well-being and academic success.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of health services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on student health services, including immunization data and medical histories.
  • Provide training and guidance to school staff on health-related issues and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in school health services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current RN licensure in Alabama.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in pediatric, public health, or school nursing.
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
