Warranty Administrator Job Summary

The Automotive Warranty Management Specialist is responsible for managing the warranty process for products or services offered by Sunroad Enterprises. This role involves overseeing the entire warranty lifecycle, from initial claim submission to final resolution, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies.

This position works closely with customers, service departments, and suppliers to facilitate efficient and accurate warranty processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Warranty Claim Review and Processing: Review and process warranty claims submitted by customers or service technicians, verifying warranty coverage and ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Claim Submission and Tracking: Submit claims to manufacturers or service providers promptly and track their status to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Record Keeping and Database Management: Maintain detailed and accurate records of warranty claims, including documentation, correspondence, and approvals, and update warranty databases and systems to track claim statuses and outcomes.
  • Customer Support and Communication: Respond to customer inquiries regarding warranty coverage, claim status, and resolution, and assist customers with the warranty claim process, providing guidance and support as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a two-year experience in warranty administration or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, excellent communication and customer service skills, attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Work Environment:

This role requires standing, walking, sitting; using hands; reaching with hands and arms; talking and hearing. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer are expected, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds may be required.

Noise levels are moderate.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $33,700 base salary (paid hourly), with potential total compensation of $50k - $70K.
