Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Residential Remodeling Specialist with 5-8 years of construction experience. The ideal candidate will be an expert in structural and non-structural framing, interior and exterior doors/windows, and trim installation.

  • The Residential Remodeling Specialist will perform high-quality installations according to the anticipated timeline, considering priority, order of operations, and general jobsite safety regulations.
  • This role requires proficient interpretation of architectural and structural plans.
  • The Specialist will proactively communicate current and upcoming project needs to the Project Manager and Design Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Execution and Collaboration
  • Execute high-quality installations according to the anticipated timeline with consideration for priority, order of operations, and general Jobsite safety regulations.
  • Proficiently interpret architectural and structural plans.
  • Proactively communicate current and upcoming project needs to the Project Manager and/or Design Manager, including regular material deliveries and installations.
Management and Evaluation
  • Manage and coordinate onsite subcontractor teams as needed.
  • Evaluate and correct subcontractor work quality and performance as needed.
  • Meet with building inspectors on-site to conduct scheduled building inspections as needed.

Requirements:

  • Expertise in structural and non-structural framing.
  • Experience with interior and exterior doors/windows, and trim installation.
  • 5-8 years of construction experience, residential and/or commercial remodeling, renovation, and new builds.
  • Professional framing experience.
  • Proof of completed ICC National Building Standard C Test.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proactive organization & time/schedule management skills.

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
