We are seeking a skilled Construction Assistant to join our team at Canyon's Construction Services, LLC. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a privately owned design-build firm based in Jefferson County, CO.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support our Craftsman in constructing beautiful home renovations, remodels, and new constructions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing high-quality installations under the direction of the Craftsman, including drywall, framing, flooring, cabinetry, etc.
  • FOLLOWING order of operations and general jobsite safety regulations.
  • Supporting the Craftsman in interpreting architectural and structural plans.
  • Coordinating and communicating daily and weekly material and installation needs to the Craftsman and Project Manager.
  • Overseeing weekly/daily on-site material deliveries, communicating any issues, complications or special circumstances.
  • Assisting with building inspections, as needed.
  • Coordinating with onsite subcontractor teams, as needed.
  • Ensuring project site, installations, and all resources are meeting quality standards.
  • Assisting Craftsman to successfully navigate software updates, notes, and expectations for project success.
Position Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience - residential/commercial remodel, renovation and new builds.
  • 2-3 years of installation experience.
  • 2-3 years experience professional framing experience.
  • Proof of completed ICC National Building Standard C Test (if not completed within the last 1 year, required to complete within 6 months of employment).
  • Technical proficiency in various Project Management platforms and Google Workspace, preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Proactive and effective organization and time/schedule management skills.
  • Must be team-oriented and successfully work alongside both internal and external teams to achieve first-rate project outcomes and first-rate success.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you can enjoy benefits such as:

  • A 4-day work week with a 4-day weekend twice a month.
