Job Summary

The Lexington Clinic is seeking a highly skilled Lead CT Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for assisting staff CT technologists and radiologists in performing diagnostic procedures for patients using computed tomography.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients using computed tomography
  • Work effectively with patients and other clinical personnel
  • Assist staff CT technologists and radiologists as needed
  • Ensure accurate and efficient completion of procedures
Requirements
  • Formal training in radiologic technology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure from the Kentucky Department of Human Resources/Radiation Control Branch
  • Successful completion of ARRT registry examination for CT
  • Minimum two years of experience in CT operations
  • Current CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four years of experience in CT operations
Physical Guidelines

The physical guidelines for this position include:

  • Ability to move, traverse, position self, and remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours per day
  • Ability to assist patients in turning, lying down on and arising from the table safely
  • Ability to push wheelchair patients and assist patients in arising from and returning to wheelchair safely
  • Ability to move, lift, and position materials weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Exposure to hazardous materials
  • Manual dexterity and motor coordination
  • Visual and auditory acuity
