We are seeking a skilled Technology Support Specialist to join our team at 2Life Communities. As a key member of our Resident Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents have access to the technology they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one technical support and training to residents on the use of their personal devices and troubleshoot basic issues
  • Design and deliver technology courses in person and using video-conferencing software to meet the diverse needs of our residents
  • Monitor and supervise the use of resident Computer Centers to ensure a safe and supportive environment
  • Document services and resident attendance, as well as track and report hardware and software issues
  • Create technology resources and materials to support resident learning and engagement
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to resident confidentiality standards in all work
  • Collaborate with Resident Services staff to develop and implement technology programming that meets the needs of our diverse resident population
Requirements
  • Fluent in English, with bilingual skills in Cantonese or Mandarin a plus
  • Extensive knowledge of Windows Operating System, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of relevant internet platforms, including Zoom, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, and email
  • Knowledge of pertinent hardware, including laptops, desktops, tablets, smartphones, and printers
  • Ability to work with older adult learners, demonstrating patience and creativity in teaching and support
