Job Overview

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer to lead industrial project design in our Seattle office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consulting services to internal and external clients.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, and a strong background in electrical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive electrical system designs for industrial projects, including power distribution, communications, lighting, and control systems.
  • Conduct electrical power system studies, such as load studies, fault current analysis, coordination/arc flash hazard studies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop specifications and provide construction support, including reviewing submittals and shop drawings, responding to contractor RFIs, and performing site inspections.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of consulting electrical engineering experience.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes (NEC, NESC, WAC) and standards (NFPA, IEEE).
  • Registration as a State of Washington Professional Engineer is preferred.
