Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the revenue cycle operations team
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
    • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle team
  • Revenue Cycle Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle efficiency and effectiveness
    • Manage and oversee the claims management process, including electronic claims submission and follow-up
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with payer agreements and regulatory requirements
  • Customer Service and Continuous Improvement
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer service and satisfaction
    • Conduct regular reviews and analysis of revenue cycle operations to identify areas for improvement
    • Develop and implement plans to address areas for improvement and drive business growth
  • Technical Practice Management System
    • Oversee the development and implementation of standard and ad-hoc reports
    • Direct the technical system work required to support clinical billing and reimbursement
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 8 years' experience in a large academic group practice with emphasis on back-office functions
    • Comprehensive knowledge of claims management, HIPAA standards, CMS requirements, managed care, CPT, and HCPS coding
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities and abilities
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple, complex projects with high quality results
