**Job Description:**

Alaska Pacific Trucking Inc is seeking a qualified Heavy Duty Diesel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of commercial trucks, including log trucks and dump trucks.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in diesel mechanics, an Associate's degree or training in vocational school, and strong skills in troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, repairing, operation monitoring, operation and control, quality control analysis, critical thinking, and complex problem solving.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Diagnose and repair faults or malfunctions in commercial trucks
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including greasing, oil & filter changes
  • Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance
  • Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment

**Estimated Salary:** $41,091 - $77,045 DOE.
