Position Overview

Cognizant is on the lookout for a skilled Bioinformatics Quality Assurance Specialist with extensive experience in Performance Testing. This role is pivotal in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of our bioinformatics applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and sustain performance test cases and scenarios that accurately reflect real-world usage patterns.
  • Utilize advanced performance testing tools and methodologies to replicate high-traffic conditions.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory mandates concerning bioinformatics data processing and security.

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in performance testing methodologies and tools.
  • Strong understanding of bioinformatics, including data analysis and interpretation.
  • Ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
