Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Anthony Scotto Restaurants. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience in a fine dining establishment, with a strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures. You will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Assist the executive and sous chef with daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Clean up station and take care of leftover food
  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef or prep cook
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Proven experience in a fine dining establishment
  • Incredible food preparation abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once
  • Deep knowledge of fine dining and industry-leading trends
