AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to join our team at a correctional facility in Ione, California. This long-term contract position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will provide clinical interventions, including counseling (group and individual), under the supervision of a Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker or their designee. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments and providing services within the MFT practice limits
- Collaborating with other professionals to contribute to care planning and coordinate interdisciplinary care
- Assisting in transitional care planning and connecting patients with community resources upon release
In addition, the Marriage and Family Therapist will assess and deliver intervention, education, and counseling services in marriage, couples, family, and individual contexts. They will also administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, conduct assessments for patients preparing for release, and offer education and counseling to develop life skills and address Substance Use Disorder-related issues.
RequirementsTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess a valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science. A minimum of 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years is also required. The ideal candidate will have relevant certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
BenefitsThis contract position offers a competitive rate of $2,520 per 40 hours worked. With a schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am-4:30pm, this role provides a stable and predictable work environment.
Estimate Salary RangeBased on industry standards and location, we estimate the annual salary for this role to be between $103,200 and $129,600.
