ISUDT Marriage and Family Therapist

AdeIphi MedicaI Staffing is seeking a qualified Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to provide services in a correctional facility setting. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker and will be responsible for providing assessments, clinical interventions, and counseling services to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments and provide clinical interventions, including counseling (group and individual)
- Collaborate with other professionals, contribute to care planning, and coordinate interdisciplinary care
- Assist in transitional care planning, connecting patients with community resources upon release
- Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy for individuals with Substance Use Disorders, both individually and in groups
- Conduct assessments for patients preparing for release
- Offer education and counseling to develop life skills and address Substance Use Disorder-related issues
- Contribute to treatment and care plans
- Review patient records, gather data, and complete necessary documentation
- Make recommendations to care teams, foster effective communication, and collaborate with patients and other disciplines
- Document and assess patient progress in programs, assisting with discharges and transfers in coordination with other rehabilitation programs
- Collaborate with institutional partners and custody staff to evaluate patient participation and progress
- Attend required case conferences, meetings, training sessions, and committees
- Valid and active California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science
- At least 12 consecutive months of performing similar services within the last 3 years
- Must have the required certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area
