Per Diem, must be available for weekdays and weekends.
DUTIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicates issues, concerns, and proposes enhancements for procedures or workflow.
- Completes daily, weekly, or monthly assignments punctually and with a high standard of quality.
- Utilizes and maintains all cleaning equipment, adhering to established procedures to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Responds to service requests related to special events, moving items, cleaning, or other needs as required by residents, staff, or visitors to uphold the quality of the environment.
- Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: dusting, disinfecting surfaces, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disposing of trash, infectious waste, soiled linen, delivering new linen, and replacing supplies.
- Cleans resident rooms following established procedures for isolation, discharge, or complete room cleaning.
- Responsible for cleaning cubicle curtains, vents, walls, flat surfaces, windows, wheelchairs, cleaning equipment, shower rooms, stripping and refinishing floors, or restoring floors.
- Keeps utility rooms, storage areas, and closets organized and clean.
- Attends to daily special cleaning tasks in areas such as elevators, public restrooms, meeting rooms, or around dumpsters.
- Participates in monthly, quarterly, or annual meetings and adheres to fire, safety, and emergency protocols.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Licensure:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, residents, and visitors. Capable of managing multiple demands and meeting deadlines. Proficient in using all cleaning equipment and knowledgeable about environmental procedures.
