About the Job

This role involves supporting our mission, vision, and values by providing exceptional customer service, selling services and products, and ensuring a positive experience for all clients and pet guests.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the overall goals and objectives of Destination Pet LLC.
  • Selling our services and products to prospective customers.
  • Touring prospective clients and visitors through our facilities.
  • Answering phone calls and providing accurate information according to established procedures.
  • Welcome clients and pet guests, ensuring they have up-to-date vaccination records.
  • Responsible for cash management, including accepting payments and balancing the cash drawer.
  • Explaining company policies in a positive manner.
  • Responding to customer complaints professionally and resolving issues satisfactorily.
  • Escorting pet guests to/from their enclosures and providing water as needed.
  • Operating the Point-of-Sale system.
  • Maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of public areas.
  • Completing required training and attending sessions as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or Equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in customer service or retail sales.
  • Able to resolve problems quickly and professionally.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent telephone skills.
  • Ability to work with a multi-line phone system and computer system.
  • Professional demeanor at all times.
Physical Demands:
  • Must work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Frequent lifting of 40 pounds.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
  • Ability to handle dogs on leashes.
  • Work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander, and excretions.
Salary Information:

$14.00 per hour, DOE.
