Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, prioritizing responsibilities and issues to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote positive patient outcomes, providing education and support to patients and families.
  • Assess patient safety risk factors and identify patients requiring specific safety interventions, including skin integrity and fall risk.
  • Document all patient assessments, interventions, responses, and provider communication accurately and promptly.
  • Perform ongoing review, initiation, and implementation of patient orders in a timely manner every shift.
Requirements
  • RN - Registered Nurse Required
  • BLS - Basic Life Saving certification (AHA) Required
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA) Required
  • NIH - Stroke Certification Required
Competencies and Skills
  • Experience in a hospital or acute care setting required
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to keep confidential information regarding patients and team members
  • Able to withstand crisis situations
  • Knowledge and experience with Electronic Health Records
