About the Role:

As a Visual Communication Specialist, you will play a vital role in crafting graphic designs for marketing and educational materials on a global scale, ensuring consistency with our brand identity. Your designs will significantly influence how we present our mission and values to users. Reporting to the Head of Brand Design, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization to translate strategic objectives into engaging and accessible design materials that uphold our creative standards. Your contributions will be highly visible and will support the strategic goals of multiple teams, including product, operations, legal, data privacy, and communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute creative concepts for print materials that align with brand strategy and direction from the Head of Brand Design.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously for diverse global markets, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Design graphic and marketing materials, collaborating with team members to ensure cohesive output.
  • Create visual assets, including sketches and concepts, across a variety of print materials and merchandise.
  • Engage with a broad group of designers and cross-functional stakeholders throughout the organization.
  • Implement design revisions in accordance with creative direction.
  • Effectively communicate ideas to a wide audience through simplified design.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
About You:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, particularly in print.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong grasp of typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Exceptional design skills with a keen eye for composition and layout.
  • Hands-on experience in creating high-fidelity mockups, illustrations, and design assets.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
  • Experience in both digital and print design formats.
  • Familiarity with printing processes and press operations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Experience with design systems for large brands across various projects.
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience in digital marketing design across diverse markets.
  • Knowledge of motion graphics or video production.
  • Ability to create high-fidelity mockups and assets.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position at Tools for Humanity ranges from $70,000 - $100,000, complemented by a competitive long-term incentive package and potential variable compensation. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
