SLPA - Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at Peabody Public Schools. As a key member of our educational community, you will play a vital role in supporting students with communication and language needs.
Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Speech Language Pathologists to develop and implement individualized plans for students with communication and language disorders.
- Provide direct support to students in the classroom and during therapy sessions, using evidence-based practices and strategies.
- Assist with data collection and progress monitoring to inform instruction and make data-driven decisions.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
- Salary based on Unit C Teacher contract salary schedule.
