Key Responsibilities:- Provide Speech Therapy Services: Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to students in grades K-12, addressing a range of communication needs and goals.
- Collaborate with Educational Teams: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that support student success.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each student, incorporating evidence-based practices and strategies.
- Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and educational teams to ensure seamless service delivery and coordination.
- Stay Current with Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to inform and improve service delivery.
- Active or Pending State SLP License: Possess an active or pending state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certification: Hold certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), with a strong preference for those with specialized certifications.
- Previous School Experience: While not required, previous experience working in a school setting is highly valued and preferred.
