Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby Unit team at Incredible Health. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to new mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for their recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during the postpartum period, monitoring both patients for signs of complications.
- Administer medications as prescribed and perform routine assessments of both maternal and newborn vital signs.
- Provide emotional support and education to new mothers, focusing on safe, effective infant care, breastfeeding, and self-care post-delivery.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and holistic care during and after hospital stay.
- Accurately document maternal and newborn assessments, interventions, and outcomes in line with hospital policies and procedures.
- Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
- 1+ year experience in a mother-baby, postpartum, or labor and delivery setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathetic patient and family-centered care.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.
