A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at a leading healthcare facility in Austin, Texas. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of cardiac surgery procedures, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team on a 26-week contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CVOR and thoracic surgery, with excellent communication and teamwork skills. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, maintaining equipment, and assisting surgeons during procedures. You will also be required to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • NBSTSA or NCCT certification
  • Experience in CV, thoracic, and vascular surgery
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
