Radiology Imaging Specialist

Vail Health Technician Healthsource is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic examinations, ensuring image quality, patient safety, radiation safety, and patient and physician satisfaction.
This is a full-time position working 3-12's Night shift (11pm-7:30am) with eligibility for Night Shift differential, $5 per hour + base pay.
The ideal candidate will have one year of experience in radiology and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.

As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for:
- Performing all radiographic examinations according to Vail Health Protocols.
- Assisting Radiologist with all fluoroscopic procedures.
- Operating large C-arm and O-arm under the direction of the surgeon.
- Maintaining constructive collaborative communication with patients, families, physicians, co-workers, and other members of health care team to contribute to continuity of care.
- Maintaining established department policies and procedures, objectives, confidentiality, quality assurance, safety, environmental standards, radiation protection standards, infection control standards, and universal precautions.
- Maintaining working knowledge and use of the Vail Health HIS and PACS computer systems to ensure quality patient documentation.
- Monitoring supply inventory and notifying appropriate staff for ordering when stock is low. Keeping exam and dressing rooms stocked and neat.
- Role modeling the principles of a Just Culture.
- Performing other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.
