Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize signal timings, lane configurations, and intersection geometries to maximize efficiency and minimize environmental impact.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in traffic engineering, including traffic impact analysis, signal design, and transportation planning.
  • PE license is preferred, but not required.
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Synchro/SimTraffic, and HCS Software
  • Familiarity with Highway Capacity Manual, AASHTO and MUTCD
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex traffic data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with colleagues, clients, and the community effectively.
  • Passion for sustainable traffic and transportation solutions and a commitment to fostering positive change in the region.
