Job Summary:
At UAB Medical West, we are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Tech, you will be responsible for performing a variety of patient exams utilizing the CT Scan machine to obtain images for diagnosis and treatment of diseases and pathologies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans on patients to obtain diagnostic images
- Position patients correctly and safely for exams
- Operate CT Scan machine and other medical equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and images
Requirements:
- Graduate from a Radiography program
- Current Registry in good standing with ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Registry in CT preferred
- American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of hire
Work Schedule:
10:00am-8:30pm
